Our Programs
Community Health Center
The HWCHC offers free primary healthcare services for medically uninsured low income residents of Lancaster, Lebanon and Dauphin Counties.
Counseling
Hope Within Counseling is offered on a self-pay, income-based sliding scale fee and there are no other eligibility requirements.
Dental
We offer donation-based oral health screenings, education, cleanings, sealings, fillings, and extractions.
Due to high demand, the dental program is limited to patients that are connected to Hope Within primary care.

A Team That Cares
Hope Within was co-founded in 2002 by Brian & Donita Sturgis with the dream of providing primary health care to the uninsured low-income residents of Lancaster, Dauphin, and Lebanon Counties.
Through the grace and goodness of God, we are excited to share His love by offering excellent and free primary medical, low-cost sliding scale counseling, and donation-based dental care via the hands of more than thirty volunteers medical, dental providers, therapists, and nurses.

Determine Eligibility
You are an eligible patient if you...
● Reside in Dauphin, Lancaster or Lebanon
County;
● Have an income under 250% of the Federal Poverty Level
● Are medically uninsured OR have medical assistance with lack of a reasonably accessible medical home.

Hope Within Ministries is generously staffed by a pool of dedicated volunteers. As such, the hours the center operates are variable and based on volunteer availability.

How To Donate or Volunteer
Hope Within relies on and is immensely grateful for the generous support from both medical and non-medical volunteers. Volunteer opportunities exists for health care providers, reception/front office service, nursing, help with fundraising or community outreach events, and miscellaneous ministry projects and needs. We would love to hear from you as to ways you would like to get involved.
